My Playing Style

When I sit down to jam nowadays, the usual songs I play are... First I'll start off classical with Beethoven - Fur Elise. I'ts not a hard song to play if you can find the right tabs for it. Then normally after that I will play something by All That Remains, like The Air That I Breathe or Six.
Then I'll Bust out some Bon Jovi - Wanted Dead or Alive. Lol i'm not joking about the Bon Jovi song. I really like it and it reminds me of the songs I listened to in high school. Then after that I try to do some of the finger tapping parts of Van Halen - Eruption or ACDC - Thunderstruck tapping and I zone out while doing it because it sounds cool. That's just a couple of songs I like to play off the top of my head, but I play just tons of random songs when I jam.

Australian band

Karnivool is this australian band that has some really decent guitar riffs in all of their songs pretty much, but their tuning is hard to do. Good songs by them are Themata, Shutter Speed, Lifelike, and Mauseum. If you get a chance, check out this link to Themata, its my favorite song by them.

Amazing new band

Seasons After, just found them a couple days ago and they are a brand new metalcore band, only like 6000 views on youtube. My favorite songs by them so far are 11:11 and cry little sister. So far I really like these guys and I might start tabbing out a couple of their songs. Comment if you like these guys.

This link is to the song 11:11

The band that started it all...

When I first started playing guitar I listened to alot of Metallica and realized thats what I would like to learn how to play. Then I got a couple of Metallica tab books and started learning most of their Black album. The first Metallica song I learned was Enter Sandman followed by Nothing Else Matters. The hardest Metallica song by far for me was Master of Puppets. If you are learning how to play I would suggest figuring out how to play tableture and picking up a couple of tab books yourself.

Some music I listen to

Here are a couple bands and songs I listen to. Just to give you an idea of what I like to play on guitar or what I am learning to play at the moment.

Karnivool - Themata, is a hard song to figure out but has some really nice sounding guitar in it.

The Human Abstract - Polaris, good song but hard to get tabs. If you like this song look up Killrbuckeye on youtube. He has a lot of videos and plays a lot of the same songs I do. Plus I get most of my good tabs from him. Also he uses guitar pro for tabs, so if you want to play his songs you will have to get guitar pro, its free and easy to learn songs... really easy.

All That Remains - The Air That I Breathe, Good song, Killrbuckeye also covers this song on youtube. Got this tab from him also, and its a good tab.

Ill post some more later.
